 This tour offers stops en route for pictures, contemplation, exploration, snacks or lunch, and a little shopping for souvenir. 

 Wheelchair accessibility: As long as the tourist has some mobility then this tour would be suitable.

 We may have to mix a group of tourists who speak three different languages. The guide maybe has to speak with the tourists switching amoung English, Portuguese and Spanish languages. 

 Groups of up to 18 people share a 19-seater van with an English, Portuguese and Spanish speaking guide who will escort them during the entire excursion.

 If you cancel at least 5 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee.

 If you cancel between 2 & 4 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If a 50 percent down payment has been made, this will not be reimbursed in case of cancellations between 2 and 4 days in advance.  

 If you cancel within 1 day of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.

 Tipping is not included in our service fees, It is never mandatory although it is always appreciated. We do believe that if the guests have been happy with their service, the guide, assistant and driver should receive a tip as a token of appreciation. Standard gratuities in Brazil runs around 10 % depending on the service received.

Pick-ups between 7:00 and 8:00, but we will contact all tourists on the date before the tour to schedule a more accurate pick-up time.

 As soon as the tour guide arrives at your hotel, they get the front desk to call you in the room in case you are not at the lobby.

 In the very unlikely situation that you are not able to locate our guide, please call one of our emergency telephone numbers that are on the voucher.  

 The experience lasts about 8 hours from the actual moment of pick-up. At the end of the tour, our guide will take you back to the pick-up location.

 The assigned vehicle is according to the number of passengers for the tour up to 18 people maximum. The vehicles are all fully-equipped and suitable to fit you and your group comfortably.

The e-mail confirmation voucher that you receive the day before the tour should state the tour guide’s name and phone number for any unexpected issue. Any late arrivals that the vehicle has already left the meeting point, call us or the guide to arrange to meet the vehicle somewhere in the itinerary. 

 No. As it’s a group shared tour with other tourists, it can not be personalized.

 Yes, this tour is open to anyone who wants to join it. 

 By making a booking with Gregtur, you hereby accept to share the vehicle and guide with other tourists who might be join it as well, including minors and people under a disability.

 It's unlikely it rains so much that we are forced to cancel the tour. Most of Rio's rain is in the evenings during summertime, so you will find that most tours are very sunny.

 In case of bad whether, just dress appropriately for the conditions and go for it.

 If the weather is bad, your guide will include as many “bad weather” covered stops as possible.

 If for some unexpected reason we are forced to cancel the tour, all reserved guests will be contacted via email and text to be advised properly.

 No, we’re afraid not. If there are extenuating circumstances why you were unable to come, please drop us a line at info@gregtur.com and we will try to find a space for you on a later date, but we cannot guarantee this.

 Yes, you can try to join the tour going at right time at the meeting point without upfront booking, but we cannot guarantee a spot for you. In case there is a spot for joining it, just pay the amount directly to the guide in cash or credit card.

 Yes, it's possible to do it.

 Yes, the booking is valid for 30 days from the date on it has been scheduled.

 No, there are NO fees to pay for entering buildings or visiting places of interest during the tour.

 Yes, you can leave the tour anytime you wish. Sometimes, tourists have to leave before the tour finishes or they like so much an attraction that decide to spend more time at a sight or place. In this case, just let the guide knows that you are quitting the tour for some reason. 

 There is no refunds for such cases.

 The tour guide themselves drives the vehicle in case of groups with up to 3 people. Groups bigger than 4 people have also a driver along with the tour guide.

 The guide’s basic expenses such as meals, drinks and parking lot are paid by themselves on spot. Museums, cultural and some entertaining activities are free of charge for tour guides. 

 All tour guides have complete knowledge about the city sights, culture, history, and social-economic aspects of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. Some guides are experts on architecture, street art, music, local crafts and design, fashion, cycling, hiking, photograph, business, sports, LGBTQ culture, nature, religion, shopping, gastronomy, art, nightlife, and other topics.
