We get through one of the largest urban forests in the world. The preserved Forest is visited by locals and tourists for the practice of sports, strolls and walks. Birds, native plants and fruitful trees compose the flora and the fauna of the Forest of the Tijuca.
Corcovado Hill & Christ the Redeemer
Reaching the Christ, we'll take you with our tour vehicle from its base to nearly the summit. The very top is reached by climbing a flight of stairs to arrive at the iconic Christ the Redeemer Statue. The view, from this vantage point, with the surrounding Tijuca National Forest spreading below and a circle of mountains closing the horizon at the very back of the Guanabara bay is truly spectacular. After some time to walk around and take photos, we make the way back down.
Maracanã Stadium
The most important Brazilian football temple. It was stage for important football events like hosting the 1950 and 2014 football world-cup and the Olympic games of 2016.

Now relax on the comfortable drive back to the meeting point.

If you cancel between 2 & 4 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If a 50 percent down payment has been made, this will not be reimbursed in case of cancellations between 2 and 4 days in advance.
If you cancel within 1 day of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.

In the very unlikely situation that you are not able to locate our guide, please call one of our emergency telephone numbers that are on the voucher.
The experience lasts about 8 hours from the actual moment of pick-up. At the end of the tour, our guide will take you back to the pick-up location.

It's unlikely it rains so much that we are forced to cancel the tour. Most of Rio's rain is in the evenings during summertime, so you will find that most tours are very sunny.
In case of bad whether, just dress appropriately for the conditions and go for it.
If the weather is bad, your guide will include as many “bad weather” covered stops as possible.
If for some unexpected reason we are forced to cancel the tour, all reserved guests will be contacted via email and text to be advised properly.
No, we’re afraid not. If there are extenuating circumstances why you were unable to come, please drop us a line at info@gregtur.com and we will try to find a space for you on a later date, but we cannot guarantee this.
Yes, you can try to join the tour going at right time at the meeting point without upfront booking, but we cannot guarantee a spot for you. In case there is a spot for joining it, just pay the amount directly to the guide in cash or credit card.

No, there are NO fees to pay for entering buildings or visiting places of interest during the tour.
Yes, you can leave the tour anytime you wish. Sometimes, tourists have to leave before the tour finishes or they like so much an attraction that decide to spend more time at a sight or place. In this case, just let the guide knows that you are quitting the tour for some reason.
There is no refunds for such cases.
The tour guide themselves drives the vehicle in case of groups with up to 3 people. Groups bigger than 4 people have also a driver along with the tour guide.
