Torrada Petrópolis is a soft bread, slightly sweet and delicate, with a delicious crust. It's greased with butter, toasted on a pan and served with butter and jam. It's simply divine!

The pastel is a thin, crispy crust delicacy shaped rectangle holding various fillings inside before being deep-fried in vegetable oil. The pastels are very popular in Brazil commonly found in farmer's market where they are freshly-made at street stalls.
Guaraná
Guarana is a plant named for the Guarani tribe in the Amazon, who used the seeds to brew a drink. Today, guarana seeds are still used as medicine.
Guarana is used for weight loss, to enhance athletic performance, as a stimulant, and to reduce mental and physical fatigue.
We are going to taste the soft drink flavored with Guarana to give us some energy for our walking.
Cheese Bread - (Pão de Queijo)
Pão de queijo means cheese bread. It’s a delightful small, baked cheese roll, very popular snack in Brazil. It’s made with manioc flour, milk, eggs, olive oil, and cheese.

It's unlikely it rains so much that we are forced to cancel the tour. Most of Rio de Janeiro's rain is in the evenings during summertime, so you will find that most tours are very sunny.
