Petrópolis Toast (Torrada Petrópolis)
Torrada Petrópolis is a soft bread, slightly sweet and delicate, with a delicious crust. It's greased with butter, toasted on a pan and served with butter and jam. It's simply divine!

The pastel is a thin, crispy crust delicacy shaped rectangle holding various fillings inside before being deep-fried in vegetable oil. The pastels are very popular in Brazil commonly found in farmer's market where they are freshly-made at street stalls.

Guarana is a plant named for the Guarani tribe in the Amazon, who used the seeds to brew a drink. Today, guarana seeds are still used as medicine.
Guarana is used for weight loss, to enhance athletic performance, as a stimulant, and to reduce mental and physical fatigue.
