You’ll be picked up by our vehicle at your designated pick-up location in the city of Santos, São Paulo or elsewhere and taken to the boarding area where the boat is docked in Santos.
After meeting your licensed tour guide, we jump on a boat and cruise up the sea canal heading to downtown Santos. Enjoy walking through some of the most historically city sites and finish it up with a stylish coffee at the striking historical symbol of Santos, the “Coffee Museum”. Meanwhile, learn about the importance of coffee for the socio-economic development of Brazil, São Paulo state and Santos.
From there, we cruise down the Bertioga canal heading to the town of Bertioga. The canal is a sea arm known for its beautiful landscapes, mangroves, mansions at the water's edge, marinas, Fort São João, as well as the mouth of the Itapanhaú river.
We visit the 1547 well-maintained "Fort São João" that houses a permanent exhibition of ancient weapons, historical artifacts, statues, and indigenous huts. In addition to the historical importance, the fort has wonderful views of the Bertioga canal and its shoreline.
After a brief shoreline walk catching sights and culture, we change the pace totally taking a boat ride to the delightful secluded Prainha Branca beach 10 min away.
Located in the city of Guarujá, the paradisiacal beach is outside the tourist circuit, surrounded by the region's characteristic vegetation of the Atlantic Forest, blueish sea, and white sand.
It’s certain a destination for those who want to escape the crowds and be relaxing close to nature having appetizers and sipping drinks beachfront. The local restaurants provide beach umbrellas and chairs for enjoying the beach.
Ask the guide for the trail to the beautiful nearby Prainha Preta or explore the island just in front.
At a low tide, the island across the beach can be accessed on foot through a short stripe of smooth white sand. At high tide, the causeway is submerged in clear waters ideal for snorkeling practices.
After having such an adventurous day, we journey back to Santos where the tour started. We’ll engage in a conversation about your interests and our expertise, whether that can be local bioma, or cultural history of the area.
After disembarkation, our private vehicle will be waiting for you to drive back to your place safely.

For long-distance trips, we may have to ask the state or federal road department authorization for taking open highways with big vehicles like vans and buses. Thus, in order to do that, it's required the list of all passengers and their passport or ID numbers at the time of the booking (Send it via e-mail after the booking). Therefore, it’s extremely important to book tours with long-distance pick-ups or drop-offs with at least 24 hours in advance.
If big vehicles like a van or a bus is traveling without the required documents and the police pulls it over, the trip cannot continue.

The offered 8-hour guide & boat availability is enough to cover the whole suggested tour itinerary.
In case tourists want to have more stops for any reason or spend more time at a sight, it should impact on the tour coverage reducing the number of seen sights or establishments.
The tour coverage depends on the tour rhythm as the guide goes at your pace.
Other adversities may also slow down the tour progress such as bad weather.
This field is to specify the number of hours the licensed “TOUR GUIDE & BOAT” will be at your availability.
Just fill out the “PICK-UP” and “FINAL DROP-OFF” location fields to have the price for the tour guide to pick you up wherever you are, take you on the tour, and return you back to your place afterwards. The booking system may automatically reject too long-distance pick-ups & drop-offs, as the tour may NOT be worth taking because of the trip time to the city of the tour. In this case, you can either select closer locations or get in touch with us for options.
No, this tour is designed to be taken in daytime.

Southeastern Brazil, the climate is tropical, with a relatively cool season from May to October, and a hot and muggy season from December to March, with November and April as intermediate months. The daily average temperature ranges from 21.5 °C (70.5 °F) in July to 27 °C (81 °F) in January and February.
Although the average temperatures are not very high, sometimes in summer very hot days can occur, with highs around 35/37 °C (95/99 °F), from October to April. However, summery days can occur even in winter, with highs around 30/32 °C (86/90 °F) even in June, July and August.
On the other hand, during the cool season, from May to October, cold air masses of Antarctic origin can bring cool temperatures, or even a little cold at night, in fact lows can drop to around 10/12 °C (50/54 °F) and highs can stay around 18/20 °C (64/68 °F).
It rains almost everyday in abundance during summertime at the end of the afternoon and beginning of the evening, around 5PM. It’s a tropical rain that lasts about 1 hour, but pours down very heavily. It’s not a good idea to be out during a tropical storm.
Winter is quite dry, but at times some disturbances can affect this area, bringing some days of bad weather, and also cool temperatures. This happens mostly in mid-winter (in the months of June, July and August), but it can also occur in the months of May, September and October.
The seasons in the Southern Hemisphere are the opposite of those in the Northern Hemisphere. This means that in Brazil the winter begins in June.
The tour can be hired for 1 person up to 13 people. We will assign a suitable vehicle / boat according to your group.
If you have groups with more than 13 people, the ideal is to make 2 bookings splitting the group and using two vehicles / boats plus two tour guides.
