For long-distance trips, we may have to ask the state or federal road department authorization for taking open highways with big vehicles like vans and buses. Thus, in order to do that, it's required the list of all passengers and their passport or ID numbers at the time of the booking (Send it via e-mail after the booking). Therefore, it’s extremely important to book tours with long-distance pick-ups or drop-offs with at least 24 hours in advance.
If big vehicles like a van or a bus is traveling without the required documents and the police pulls it over, the trip cannot continue.
For local pick-ups or drop-offs like airport or nearby cities, there is NO need of such list and passport or ID numbers.
Such requirement is not necessary for small vehicles like sedans, minivans and SUVs.
The tour guide themselves drives the vehicle in case of groups with up to five (5) people besides guiding and giving all the tour explanations. Groups bigger than five (5) people have also a private driver along with the tour guide.

Count starts from the pickup moment, no matter where you are.
So if you are OUT OF or FAR from Santos, hire a number of hours taking into account the trip time to get it from your place. Ex: If the pick-up location is in the city of São Paulo, and it takes about 1:30h to reach Santos from São Paulo, the number of hired hours should be at least 7 hours in total. It is because 1:30h to reach the city of the tour (Santos), 4 hours of actual city tour and sightseeing, and plus 1:30 h to be returned to the city of São Paulo if that’s your final drop-off location.
If you are far or out of Santos and want to take this tour, as soon as you enter the "pick-up" and "final drop-off " locations into the respective fields, the system adds automatically the proper minimum amount of hours to cover the transfers to get you to and out of the city of the tour.
The minimum amount of hours is not extremely accurate at the extent to take into consideration all of the unexpected elements that could cause delays like traffic, weather or long-distant pick-ups and drop-offs. So if you think the system does not calculate precisely the minimum amount of hours to cover the transfers plus the tour, you can adjust it increasing the number of hours in accordance with your interests.
The tour coverage depends on the number of hours hired by customers ranging from 4 to 10 hours. If you take the 10-hour full-day tour and pick-up location is in the city of Santos itself, it's likely that you are going to be able to visit all the suggested sights and much more.
Tourists should have complete control of what to see and do during the tour. If you want more time for beach, relaxation, contemplation, exploration, pictures, museum, snacks or lunch, shopping or anything else... just give instructions to the guide of what your interests are. The tour coverage depends on the tour rhythm as the guide goes at your pace, and also pretty much on the pick-up & drop-off locations.
In case tourists want to spend more time at a sight, it should impact on the tour coverage reducing the number of seen sights.
Other adversities may also slow down the tour progress such as traffic jam, and the group size that determines the size of the vehicle. Bigger vehicles assigned for bigger groups tend to be slower, and thus cover less ground and sights.
Just fill out the “PICK-UP” and “FINAL DROP-OFF” location fields to have the price for the tour guide to pick you up wherever you are, take you on the tour in Santos, and return you back to your place afterwards. The booking system may automatically reject too long-distance pick-ups & drop-offs, as the tour may NOT be worth taking because of the trip time to the city of the tour. In this case, you can either select closer locations or get in touch with us for options.
Have in mind that the tour guide may depart from Santos to pick you up at your place. So, in case you are out of or far from Santos, consider the trip time from Santos to your city NOT booking short notice.
This field is to specify the number of hours the licensed private “TOUR GUIDE & VEHICLE” will be at your availability. The count starts from the pickup moment the tour has been set to get started at your hotel, airport, port or any address you have chosen.
Tourists can hire this tour for between 4 and 10 hours. As Santos has a wide range of activities to do and sights to see, tourists can spend the entire day touring around the city. The key part of our system is the flexibility to book a tour according to your available time, number of people, pick-up and final drop-off locations.
As there are several sights to visit in Santos, the actual tour can take between 6 to 10 hours depending on your willingness to explore and available time. So you can select the number of hours you want the tour guide be at your availability.
Pick-ups OUT OF or FAR from Santos, from 50 to 100 KM distance, it's advisable to book between 7 to 8 hours of "tour guide & vehicle availability". E.G. Considering that is about 1:00 to 1:30 h driving trip to Santos from your place, booking 7 hours, you should have effectively 6- tour in Santos as 2 to 3 hours will be used for the round trip transfers. This is recommendable for cities like São Paulo and its surroundings, GRU airport (city of Guarulhos), and others.
If you want to have a break for a proper lunch at a restaurant, it should also be taken into account in order to select the right number of hours that the tour guide is going to be at your availability.
The Santos tour can be taken on any day of the week between 7:00AM and 19:00. However, it just depends on the activity you want to do at first. Perhaps, a good time to start the tour is around 8:00 as many city attractions begin its operation at 9:00.
No, this tour is designed to be taken in daytime as many of the suggested sights to be visited are closed in the evening.
Just fill out the beside “PRICE FORM” with the required information according to your demands.
The price is shown after all the fields are filled out. If you agree with the price, click on the “BOOK NOW” button.
