 The system receives bookings from 3 to 7 days of “tour guide & vehicle availability”. The key part of our system is the flexibility to book according to your available time, number of people (up to 14 people), pick-up and final drop-off locations. (read the FAQ section for more info) 

 We don't actually sell a set tour program for a certain number of days, but instead we sell the number of days the “TOUR GUIDE & VEHICLE ” are going to be at your availability to do a certain activity with you. 

 Make sure the number of days you entered in the “TOUR GUIDE & VEHICLE AT YOUR AVAILABILITY” field, which is the 2º field on the "PRICE FORM", is enough for you to cover the sights you want to see and the activities you want to do.

 As it’s a private tour, you choose the best drop-off point that suits your needs in Rio de Janeiro or its surroundings.

 As soon as the tour guide arrives at your hotel, they get the front desk to call you in the room in case you are not at the lobby.

 For long-distance trips, we may have to ask the state or federal road department authorization for taking open highways with big vehicles like vans and buses. Thus, in order to do that, it's required the list of all passengers and their passport or ID numbers at the time of the booking (Send it via e-mail after the booking). Therefore, it’s extremely important to book tours with long-distance pick-ups or drop-offs with at least 24 hours in advance.

 If big vehicles like a van or a bus is traveling without the required documents and the police pulls it over, the trip cannot continue. 

 For local pick-ups or drop-offs like airport or nearby cities, there is NO need of such list and passport or ID numbers.

 Such requirement is not necessary for small vehicles like sedans, minivans and SUVs.

 The tour guide himself drives the vehicle besides guiding, assisting and giving all the tour explanations.

 For 2 night, there should be a comfortable accommodation in a centrally-located hotel or inn in the town of Cabo Frio. It's located in a safe and walkable area close to the beach and next to a shopping street full of restaurants and bars. 

 As it's a private tour exclusively for your group, tourists may be staying in twin or triple share rooms with members of their own group. If you prefer a single room, please speak to us so that we arrange it. There may be an extra cost for it.

 The itinerary tends to be very flexible and can be personalized as it’s a private tour. As there is a countless number of attractions to see and activities to do in Arraial Do Cabo, Cabo Frio, and Búzios, tourists can decide together with the guide where to spend their day and night.

 The coverage depends on the tour rhythm as the guide goes at your pace.

 In case tourists want to have more stops for any reason or spend more time at a sight, it should impact on the tour coverage reducing the number of seen sights.

 Other adversities may also slow down the tour progress such as traffic jam and bad weather.  

 The guide is going to be at customer’s availability from 14 to 16 hours per day driving, guiding, and doing activities. The other remaining 8 to 10 hours should be reserved for rest.

 Just fill out the “PICK-UP” and “FINAL DROP-OFF” location fields to have the price for the tour guide to pick you up wherever you are, take you on the tour, and drop you off back in Rio de Janeiro at the end of the trip. The booking system may automatically reject too long-distance pick-ups & drop-offs, as the tour may NOT be worth taking because of the trip time to the city of the tour. In this case, you can either select closer locations or get in touch with us for options.

 Have in mind that the tour guide may depart from Rio de Janeiro to pick you up at your place. So in case you are out of or far from Rio de Janeiro, consider the trip time from Rio de Janeiro to your city NOT booking short notice. 

 This field is to specify the number of “DAYS” the licensed private “TOUR GUIDE & VEHICLE” will be at your availability. The count starts from the pickup moment the tour has been set to get started at your hotel, airport, port or any address you have chosen. 

 Tourists can hire this tour for between 3 and 7 days depending on their willingness to explore and available time. As there are a wide range of activities to do and sights to see, tourists can spend until 7 days or even beyond exploring without repeating anywhere.

 The cities of Arraial Do Cabo, Cabo Frio and Búzios have an excellent infrastructure in terms of leisure and activities.

 For a 3-day trip, you may have a little bit of rush if you enjoy exploring new cultures and places. If your intention is to have broader experiences without any rush, it's recommendable to book at least 4 days "tour guide & vehicle availability".

 In order to hire more days, it's a good idea to ask before booking it. It depends on the guide availability as not too many of them have the expertise to carry out the trip to Arraial Do Cabo, Cabo Frio and Búzios.

 It’s recommended to start the D1 trip in the morning on any day so that the itinerary is finished off back in Rio de Janeiro in the evening of D3.

 To form the price the system takes into consideration the number of people, the number of days the tour guide and vehicle are going to be at your availability, pick-up and drop-off locations, accommodation, and tour language. So just feed the price form with your demands, and it will automatically show the "RATES" for the tour guide to pick you up with a suitable vehicle.

 Unlike the to-and-from private transfers Rio vs Búzios and all of the other ground displacements that are conducted by our private guide, the boat tour should be on a schooner together with other unknown tourists. so, except for the boat tour, all the activities can be personalizable according to your interests and likes. Talk directly to the tour guide about your wishes or write them in the “BOOKING OBSERVATION BOX” further during the booking process.  

 The guide for this tour should have knowledge about local regions ecology, wildlife, fauna and flora, activities to do during the trip, culture, history, and social-economic aspects of Arraial Do Cabo, Cabo Frio, Búzios as well as Brazil.

 Southeastern Brazil, the climate is tropical, with a relatively cool season from May to October, and a hot and muggy season from December to March, with November and April as intermediate months. The daily average temperature ranges from 21.5 °C (70.5 °F) in July to 27 °C (81 °F) in January and February. 

 Although the average temperatures are not very high, sometimes in summer very hot days can occur, with highs around 35/37 °C (95/99 °F), from October to April. However, summery days can occur even in winter, with highs around 30/32 °C (86/90 °F) even in June, July and August. 

 On the other hand, during the cool season, from May to October, cold air masses of Antarctic origin can bring cool temperatures, or even a little cold at night, in fact lows can drop to around 10/12 °C (50/54 °F) and highs can stay around 18/20 °C (64/68 °F).

 It rains almost everyday in abundance during summertime at the end of the afternoon and beginning of the evening, around 5PM. It’s a tropical rain that lasts about 1 hour, but pours down very heavily. It’s not a good idea to be out during a tropical storm.

 Winter is quite dry, but at times some disturbances can affect this area, bringing some days of bad weather, and also cool temperatures. This happens mostly in mid-winter (in the months of June, July and August), but it can also occur in the months of May, September and October. 

 The seasons in the Southern Hemisphere are the opposite of those in the Northern Hemisphere. This means that in Brazil the winter begins in June.
