 Each child has a particular way of reacting to the balloon, but there are no problems in terms of safety. However, we recommend that the minimum age should be 6 years old, but only with authorization and presence of parents on spot.

 In case there is no presence of the guardian on the day of the ride, the minor must bring the term printed and signed by the principal responsible.

 Balloon rides take place in the early hours of the day, around 5:30 to 6:00 a.m, when temperatures and winds are usually milder. 

 This activity lasts about 15 hours in total from the pick-up at your place in São Paulo until the final drop-off at the end of the tour.

 Once you have arrived at the airport there will be a member of our staff (or guide) waiting for you at the arrivals area holding a clear sign with your name on it, they will then escort you to your waiting private vehicle.

 As soon as the tour guide arrives at your hotel, they get the front desk to call you in the room in case you are not at the lobby.

 For long-distance trips, we may have to ask the state or federal road department authorization for taking open highways with big vehicles like vans and buses. Thus, in order to do that, it's required the list of all passengers and their passport or ID numbers at the time of the booking (send it via e-mail after the booking). Therefore, it’s extremely important to book tours with long-distance pick-ups or drop-offs with at least 24 hours in advance. (valid for this tour)

 If big vehicles like a van or a bus is traveling without the required documents and the police pulls it over, the trip cannot continue. 

 Such requirement is not necessary for small vehicles like sedans, minivans and SUVs.

 The assigned vehicle is according to the number of passengers for the tour. The vehicles are all fully-equipped and suitable to fit you and your group comfortably.

 The balloon carries 12 passengers. There are also exclusive flights for 2 people with higher prices.

 The balloon does not take off in bad weather. For balloon flights to happen safely, it's needed calm winds, good visibility and no rain.

 In case the weather does not turn out well on the day of the flight (i.e. strong winds and/or rain), first we will try to find an alternative date for the tour. If this is not possible, the booking will be cancelled and no costs will be charged (any deposit will be fully returned). 

 The distance traveled will depend on the speed of the winds during the flight, but we usually move 6 to 20 km away from the starting point.

 The balloon moves at the same speed as the wind, passengers do not feel any uncomfortable movement, the floor simply moves away from your feet providing a very unique perspective. Interestingly, the sound varies a lot above the ground, the dogs' barks seem to be very close, and you will be able to hear people on the floor speaking in a normal tone.

 We assure you that, according to international standards, the room for each passenger should be enough comfortability. 

 Hot air ballooning is considered to be one of the safest ways to fly. However, there are risks inherent in all sports and this is no exception in ballooning. The most common accidents are hard landings, which cannot be avoided if the winds suddenly increase.

 This will never happen if the balloon is kept in good condition and with its load and temperature according to requirement of the authorities. 

 The balloon supports small holes of up to 25 cm, especially if it's below the equator. An accumulation of punctures will cause loss of hot air, decreasing the ascent speed and the autonomy, with an increase in gas consumption.

 The first panel of the balloon close to the torch is made of the same material used in the jumpsuits of the Formula 1 pilots and firefighters' clothing. The balloon's nylon has a waterproof layer with an anti-flame resin, that does not propagates the flames. And for complete safety, the balloon is equipped with a very efficient HALLON extinguisher.

 For the comfort and safety of passengers, smoking is not allowed on board.

 It's not allowed alcoholic beverages to be consumed during the flight. And for your safety, we don't go on board with glass or bottles.

 Not necessary. People who normally get sick even in vehicles do not have problems with nausea in the balloon. This is because they never lose the reference of the horizon and the balloon does not swing, 

 Yes, no problem. Nevertheless, we should have complete breakfast just after the flight. 

 Just fill out the “PICK-UP” and “FINAL DROP-OFF” location fields to have the price for the tour guide to pick you up wherever you are, take you on the tour, and return you back to your place afterwards. The booking system may automatically reject too long-distance pick-ups & drop-offs, as the tour may NOT be worth taking because of the trip time to the city of the tour. In this case, you can either select closer locations or get in touch with us for options.

 Yes, always. Sometimes, other than the tour guide, there is also a driver depending on the number of people.  

 Unlike the to-and-from private transfers São Paulo vs Boituva that are conducted by our private guide, the balloon should be shared with other unknown tourists.

 The guide’s basic expenses such as meals, drinks and parking lot are paid by themselves on spot. 

 The guide may decline to participate in high-priced activities that fall out of the scope of a regular tour such as going to fancy restaurants or anything out of a standard tour. In these cases, if customer wishes to have the guide as a permanent companion, the guide’s expenses should be covered by the customer. Otherwise, the guide must wait for the customer just nearby to continue on the tour afterwards. 

 All tour guides have complete knowledge about the city sights, culture, history, and social-economic aspects of São Paulo, Boituva and Brazil.   

 Once you have arrived at the airport, there will be a member of our staff / guide waiting for you at the arrivals area holding a clear sign with your name on it, they will then escort you to your waiting private vehicle.

 The tour can be hired for 1 person up to 14 people. We will assign a suitable vehicle according to your group.

 If you have groups with more than 14 people, the ideal is to make 2 bookings splitting the group and using two vehicles plus two tour guides.
