 The itinerary tends to be very flexible and can be personalized as it’s a private tour. So tourists can decide together with the guide what exactly to do as there are other things to do and see mainly in nature in the state park.

 The coverage depends on the tour rhythm as the guide goes at your pace, but it takes 2 days to cover the proposed itinerary in a fairly slow pace. 

 In case tourists want to have more stops for any reason or spend more time at a sight or place, it should impact on the tour coverage reducing the number of seen sights.

 Other adversities may also slow down the tour progress such as traffic jam and bad weather.  

 The guide & driver are going to be at customer’s availability for 14 hours on the first day for driving from the city of São Paulo or surroundings to the state park in the municipality of Eldorado and doing sightseeings and activities. The other remaining 10 hours should be reserved for rest.

 The second day the guide & driver availability may be a little less.

 Gregtur should make the booking and pay for the Inn accommodation in the municipality of Eldorado which is where the state park in located. The accommodation is already included in the price.

 Just fill out the “PICK-UP” and “FINAL DROP-OFF” location fields to have the price for the tour guide to pick you up wherever you are, take you on this trip, and return you back to your place afterwards. The booking system may automatically reject too long-distance pick-ups & drop-offs, as the tour may NOT be worth taking because of the trip time to the city of the tour. In this case, you can either select closer locations or get in touch with us for options.

 Have in mind that the tour guide may depart from São Paulo to pick you up at your place. So in case you are out of or far from São Paulo, consider the trip time from São Paulo to your city NOT booking short notice.

 Yes, private tours are totally personalizable according to your interests and likes. Talk directly to the tour guide about your wishes or state / type them in the “BOOKING OBSERVATION BOX” further during the booking process.  

 The tour is totally private and exclusive for you and your group. No other person out of your group must join your tour, unless it's invited by you.

 The tour guide themselves drives the vehicle besides assisting and guiding. 

 The guide’s basic expenses such as meals, drinks and parking lot are paid by themselves on site. Museums, parks, cultural and some entertaining activities are free of charge for tour guides. 

 The guide may decline to participate in high-priced activities that fall out of the scope of a regular tour such as going to fancy restaurants, dance clubs, nightclubs or anything out of a standard tour. In these cases, if customer wishes to have the guide as a permanent companion, the guide’s expenses should be covered by the customer. Otherwise, the guide must wait for the customer just nearby to continue on the tour afterwards. 

 The guide for this tour should have knowledge about hiking, local regions ecology, wildlife, fauna and flora, activities to do during the trip, culture, history, and social-economic aspects of cities and Brazil.

 If you want a deeper understanding of a topic or focus on a specific theme during the tour, please state / type your interests in the “BOOKING OBSERVATION BOX” further during the booking process.  

 The guide always tries to lead as safe as possible and conform to all possible situations during the tour.

 It’s NOT recommended to take this tour just before or after a long weekend holiday. In periods of Christmas, New Year’s turn or long holidays, the traffic on highways can be unbearable. In that case, it’s better to ask us about the traffic likelihood before booking.

 Southeastern Brazil, the climate is tropical, with a relatively cool season from May to October, and a hot and muggy season from December to March, with November and April as intermediate months. The daily average temperature ranges from 21.5 °C (70.5 °F) in July to 27 °C (81 °F) in January and February. 

 Although the average temperatures are not very high, sometimes in summer very hot days can occur, with highs around 35/37 °C (95/99 °F), from October to April. However, summery days can occur even in winter, with highs around 30/32 °C (86/90 °F) even in June, July and August. 

 On the other hand, during the cool season, from May to October, cold air masses of Antarctic origin can bring cool temperatures, or even a little cold at night, in fact lows can drop to around 10/12 °C (50/54 °F) and highs can stay around 18/20 °C (64/68 °F).

 It rains almost everyday in abundance during summertime at the end of the afternoon and beginning of the evening, around 5PM. It’s a tropical rain that lasts about 1 hour, but pours down very heavyly. It’s not a good idea to be out during a tropical storm.

 Winter is quite dry, but at times some disturbances can affect this area, bringing some days of bad weather, and also cool temperatures. This happens mostly in mid-winter (in the months of June, July and August), but it can also occur in the months of May, September and October. 

 The seasons in the Southern Hemisphere are the opposite of those in the Northern Hemisphere. This means that in Brazil the winter begins in June.
